MOUNTAIN FACTS

Ski or ride two states on one mountain - Head up the summit chair on the Idaho side then drop on over to the Montana side.  Our easy I-90 access at the Idaho/Montana state line puts you right into our parking lot. Lookout offers a 1,150' vertical drop with 34 named runs, 2 glade areas and acres of tree skiing covering 540 acres of skiable terrain. Annual snowfall averages 400" and the most frequent powder conditions in the region. We're wind protected and able to operate during winter snow events. A full service rental shop and professional Ski School are located next to our historic base lodge.

Check out our new Timber Wolf chairlift with 5 exciting trails. Play in 2 Terrain Parks - enjoy the "Front Side" Terrain Park with rails, boxes, banks and launches or reach new heights in our "B-52" Terrain Park with launches as big as dump trucks and a 1,111' long quater-pipe!

The "New" North Star chair will open for this winter, adding 6 new runs, three intermediate, and three advanced.

As for the Lodge, we have just completed a 6,000 square foot lodge addition including a new food court, ticket windows, expanded food service seating and a new retail accessory and logo shop.  The top floor features a new full service sports bar and lounge called the Loft Pub & Grub. A wide selection of draft beer, microbrews and other  favorite beverages can be found along with delectable edibles and panoramic slope side views. The new bottom level offers additional season pass holder lockersand restrooms. 

We will also open our new "Summit House Cafe" on weekends and holidays. The "Cafe" is located at the top of the mountain near Chairlifts 1 & 2 and is open from 10AM to 3PM.  Offering hamburgers, hot dogs, hot and cold beverages, soups, chili and assorted snacks, not to mention panoramic views.
