Before you know it, snow will be falling.  It's time to check your equipment and get ready for the slopes.  It doesn't matter whether you are a park rat or a deep powder skier, don't wait until the first day of riding to make sure that your skis, snowboard, or whatever you slide on is in good shape and ready to go.

Most important is to have a pro check those bindings. And while we're talking about feet, make sure that your boots still fit since you have probably grown since last year.

TIP:  This would be a really great time to be nice to the parents, do your homework, and otherwise be a darling little angel so that they will be happy to upgrade the gear and get a lift pass.  Save the temper tantrums for spring (and don't tell them we gave you this advice).
