We are pleased to announce that the Lookout Pass Ski Patrol has been awarded the 2007-2008 "Outstanding Patrol" award for the Inland Empire Region from the National Ski Patrol System, Pacific Northwest Division. The is the second consecutive season that the Lookout Pass Patrol has received this award.
Additionally, Lookout Pass Patrol Director, Dick Zollars, is the recipient of the Inland Empire Region "Outstanding Patrol Director" award; Lookout's Kirk Crum is the recipient of the "Outstanding Patroller" award; and Lookout's Kim Johnston is the recipient of the "Outstanding Patrol Instructor" award.
The Lookout Pass Ski Patrol is one of the original National Ski Patrol member organizations in the country with the registration number 009, and was first formed in 1938.
The all volunteer Lookout Pass Ski Patrol currently has approximately 90 members including Certified, Senior, and Basic Patrol members. An active Candidate Program is ongoing and open to individuals wishing to join the Patrol. Contact Dick Zollars at for Outdoor Emergency Care class information during the summer months.
